• Has had a love affair with design since kindergarten
  
  
• Graduated from Virginia Tech with a BS in Interior Design and
  learned to do the “Hokie-Pokie”
  
  
• Started Barbour Design Group four years out of college working with such clients as Thomasville Furniture Industries and received a third ASID award the same year
  
  
• Sharpening her craft working professionally earned two ASID Awards
  
  
• Finds that periods of chaos and crisis reveal her calm and composed nature
  
  
• Usually has "Thank You" notes written before a gift or favor is received
  
  
• Joined forces with another Christi in 2000 to create Barbour Spangle and added another ASID award to the wall
  
  
• Fell in love and married the boy next door
  
  
• Constantly working on the design of her most important life project:
  her son and daughter
