Barbour Spangle Design's passion extends beyond design. We are committed to supporting those organizations dedicated to the elimination of breast cancer, support for women and care for children.

ASID Carolina Chapter  - Christi Spangle 2011-2012 Board of Directors, Christi serves as Membership Director for the Carolina's Chapter to promote and sustain membership.

Common Thread for the Cure - Christi Barbour and Christi Spangle 2007-2011 Co-VP of Industry Relations.  Provides grants to women in the home furnishings industry affected by breast cancer.

High Point Swim Club - Christi Barbour 2009-2012 Board of Directors, Marketing Director.  A non-profit swim club that promotes health and fitness for children and teaches underprivileged families life saving swim lessons.

Theatre Art Galleries - Christi Barbour 2009-2011 Board of Directors.  Raising awareness for the arts in education for children.

Randolph Community College Advisory Board - Christi Spangle - Member for 2011-2012. The Interior Design Advisory Board works directly with RCC students to insure their education is directly related to current design practices.

The Children's Home - Brianne Dewey volunteers her time as a Tise Cottage Respite Care Volunteer

Carpenter House - Volunteers from Barbour Spangle Design located items for donations to the house and incorporated those items in a re-design of the home in hopes to create a comfortable, inviting environment for the women and children who seek refuge at Carpenter House.

Muscular Dystrophy Showhouse - Otey Construction enlisted the services of Barbour Spangle Design to design every detail of the Otey Construction ~ MD House. Proceeds from tours of the home went to the MDA.

Susan Komen Race For the Cure - Each year Barbour Spangle Design organizes a team to raise money for the Komen Foundation. We've been recognized in the top 10 fundraisers for the Winston race.

Reach to Recovery for the American Cancer Society - Anne Barnhardt is a mentor for breast cancer patients in the Guilford County area.

Alight - Alight supplies information for patients going through breast cancer in all aspects where to find answers and help with their diagnosis Anne Barnhardt sits on the committee for this breast cancer charity

G3 - Anne Barnhardt volunteers with G3, a group of women in Greensboro that fund families in need by gathering food, money, clothes, tutoring, etc. Together, they do whatever they can do to help families in need that are brought to their attention.
